Class Size

Students learn in large group conference-style sessions, small groups, and on their own throughout the course of the school year. Each format contributes to valuable learning.

Reading

Reading is a large part of our curriculum so plan on reading 30-45 minutes a day. Mandatory reading includes the Bible and other additional books training our students to live a revivalist lifestyle.

Homework

BATXSM is focused on personal transformation. While there are no grades given, participation, excellence, and timely completion of homework are expected of each student.

Activations

These are designed to help students take risks and practice what they are learning. These are done in groups and individually, and are critical for developing a revivalist lifestyle.

Outreach

Outreach provides an organized time and place for students to be activated in demonstrating the love and power of God outside the four walls of the school.

Honor System

Assignments are done on the “honor system” which is designed to build your honor. As such, students will learn to build their integrity one “yes” and one assignment at a time.

Course Work

While we differentiate between full-time and part-time students, we have designed this school to be accessible to people in all stages of life. While sacrifices to schedules will have to be made, it is possible to integrate BATXSM into your everyday life.

Hours

In addition to your class hours, you can expect approximately 5 hours of homework per week. Mandatory outreaches and serving are an additional time commitment each month.

Grading Criteria

BATXSM is entirely pass/no pass. Either you graduate or you don't. You will receive a graduation requirement checklist at the beginning of the school year that must be completed in order to graduate.

Graduation Requirements

Graduation means you have completed the academic, attendance, financial requirements, and spiritual tasks for the year with honor.

To be eligible for a Certificate of Completion, students must have:

  • Completed all assignments satisfactorily
  • Paid their tuition in full
  • Met attendance requirements
  • Demonstrated consistent godly character

Teaching Distinction

The academic instruction at BATXSM is primarily taught by our in-house instructors and staff members. We will also have powerful guest speakers throughout the year. Students will learn how to read, understand, “do” the Bible, how to practice His Presence, how to witness, heal the sick, prophesy, preach, pray, cast out demons, and much more.

Accreditation

BATXSM is not an accredited, degree-granting educational institution with the State of Texas, so students are not eligible for financial aid, student loans, grants, or tax benefits. A Certificate of Completion is issued to those that meet graduation requirements.

Transferable Credit

We believe the quality of the ministry educational experience to be more important than accreditation. However, our classes are not transferable to other institutions at this time. This includes colleges, universities, and other ministry schools.
